True, but in the rarely visitd room the existing bulb will last for
decades. I have a couple like that.

I am not going to put an expensive LED into a closet I never use when the
existing bulb goes out.

I do use LEDs in places that are hard to get to for changing bulbs, and
where the bulbs have a high duty cycle.
