Default Typical tory MP

Artic put finger to keyboard:

A Tory MP who has opposed taxpayer subsidies for green energy has been
accused of hypocrisy after winning planning permission to build a
"hideous" solar farm the size of 110 football pitches on his country
estate.

Richard Drax ignored the wishes of hundreds of residents by ploughing
ahead with the controversial plans to build the third biggest solar farm
in Britain on land which once inspired Thomas Hardy.

How in the name of all that's sacred to badgers is the fact that the land
once inspired Thomas Hardy relevant? Does that make developing it worse
than developing land that only inspired a lesser author?

In fact, having read Hardy, I would be in favour of concreting over any
land that inspired him, in case it inspired someone else to churn out
tedious anti-insomniac bathroom shelf fodder.

On a side note, what is the solar farm going to be called? Drax 2?
