Sounds like a wise decision. I'm in the east,
we don't have Costco. I did some thing like
that with the flashlight packs at BJ's whole
sale club in 1998 or so. I used Mini Mag as
my daily "everything" light. It was almost
cheaper to buy the minimag and three D cell
combo pack with first set of alkalines.
