Presumably, Save the Children is one of the "charities" that I'd be very

dubious at giving any money to, the RSPCA is another. Both ar very

"corporate"...



As for the story you can't get any real information from it at all, as by

it's own admission "The charity says this is due in part to the US's

large population, ...". If they gave the figures as percentages of

population one might be able to draw something from it but as it stands

it's just some numbers.
