It's a good thing I had a row of cardboard boxes along that wall, or
I would have fallen down the stairs.

I'll hazard a guess that would not be a good thing.

I fell down those same steps about five years ago. I ripped a door
off its hinges to try to stop my fall. I landed with the door in one
hand, and hit my chest on the back of a chair.

It hurt like hell, and I had trouble breathing for a while.

I don't doubt you. But why would you try door surfing in _your_
condition, sweetie?

Do not let your fire go out, spark by irreplacable spark.

In the hopeless swamps of the not quite, the not yet, and
the not at all, do not let the hero in your soul perish
and leave only frustration for the life you deserved, but
never have been able to reach.

The world you desire can be won, it exists, it is real,
it is possible, it is yours.
