Iodine 131 has a half life of about 8 days. There will be bugger all
Iodine 131 from Fukishima still about let alone Chernobyl.
But they give iodine tablets to those exposed.
What does I131 decay to? Is it also radioactive? If so, what in turn is
its half-life?
