Well, LM348s are essentially quad 741s. They're a lot better than 324s,
but still cheap cheap cheap.

Remember, an engineer is somebody who can do well for $1 what any idiot
can do after a fashion for $10.



There are a lot better amps in the same price range, so why not use
them? Yes, there are applications where DC offset & drift don't matter,
but none that I've worked on in the last 20 years.
