Have to agree it's a good usenet group ... been here since 1995 ...
when you had to use trn or similar to access.
The amount of off topic cross-posting seems to have reduced, (mainly
selling trainers/Rolex/Viagra or some Religious fanaticism) it got so
bad a while back I avoided using group for over a year.
That's because you never bothered to learn how to filter out such garbage,
it takes less than 5 minutes and you'll never see another ad for trainers
again.
How do you filter such garbage in less than 5 minutes? (Just asking
for OP) :-)
I pay someone the remarkably reasonable sum of EUR 10 a year to do it
for me.
