Maybe Chevron did, but around here (NJ) they still are around. And charge
receipts from gas stations run by Cumberland Farms in Mass get recorded as
Gulf, I believe (too lazy to check right now).



I recall that happening to the stations that got left out of the deal.
I suppose that the guys that operated or owned those particular stations
did not want to close shop. IIRC they were/are not actual Gulf stations
as we previously knew them.
