Default Looking for a manufacturer of large drill presses...

Or -- perhaps Joe could make a multi-drill head for it which
added about a 5" offset to the working spindles -- perhaps with feelers
back to the column to prevent it from rotating around the main machine's
spindle.

I noticed that late last night... I need a few hundred more mm.

I am exploring the off-set idea with the customer though. It might be a
workable solution... They are not convinced that it is yet but I'm using my
"convince them" e-mail voice.

I hung a high speed drill press head (0-20,000 rpm) off the spindle of
our large Grizzly mill/drill in order to work on a printed circuit
board. The weight didn't seem to cause a problem. So your thought might
be the way to proceed.
