I guess I'll have to buy a new flower pot saucer for the flower
pot

You need to keep your cat properly amused - play tunnel, scratching
post,
ramps and walkways nailed up at picture rail height.

---
You need to come to the realization that you're an idiot, although
that's not likely to happen because your idiocy will get in the way
of
your illumination.

You can't, apparently, just enjoy the image of one of my kitties
being
happily at rest in an unconventional bed, without perverting the
image
by issuing edicts about how you think what my cats should be
subjected
to during their waking hours.

Figures, since I've criticized you once or twice on technical issues
and you just can't stand being found lacking, so you retaliate in any
way you can.

Sounds to me like you should court Larkin's daughter.

You keep getting more and more hostile. More and more stupid, too.

John

Not just me he keeps trying to antagonise then?!

Hey, I'm way ahead of you as a cluck-ee. The old hen never misses an
opportunity to escalate, and he never forgets a perceived slight.

I made a suggestion for keeping his cat amused and he seems to have
percieved that as an attack - he should get tablets for that!

If he's like that with people face to face, he probably shouldn't be let
out
on his own!

Yeah, what a grumpy old fart.

We have two cats, SPCA sisters, named Comet and Ajax. Very clean cats.

Some A-list pet shops sell a kind of activity tree, usually a very small
tree cut down the middle so you can mount it to a wall, the branches are cut
short so they don't dominate the room.

Cats totally love it - a scratching post and they can doze on the branch
stubs or just rest there and survey their surroundings.

You need a pretty big living room of course - but maybe you're too pikey to
give your cat a happy life.
