I am totally amazed that this has not happened in the US to some of our
anointed leaders. Time will write history, and the tree of freedom shall
be
fertilized with the blood of tyrants.

Steve, about same thing happened in Oklahoma City. I lived in Tulsa at
the time and I remember that event quite well.

What was sad is that the brunt of the rage against the government was taken
by lowly workers and their families, and not the ones who were stealing,
raping, burning, and pillaging. As in this case. What I was referring to
was an orchestrated attack by one person or a group against the responsible
government officials. We don't need to cull the weak and lowly, but the
high and mighty. In their eyes, anyway.

I fear that this sort of thing might occur in the future. "Nits
become lice" as the saying went. So, the greatest harm to the ruling
class is to kill the next generation. But I agree it is "ne
kulturni", a barbaric, terrible sort of thing to do.

Fnord.

I forgot. There was a blog post, where the author interviewed a
couple Norwegian friends, for their take. In short, while they agree
with Breivik's assessment of "the threat" and of the need to do
something. they were not so agreeing of the logic for "direct action".
In short, they were most upset that he concluded, and acted on, the
need to kill people.
And I agree with them. Something needs be done. But can we do
that "something" without killing people?

Unfortunately, I doubt anything else could be kept cohesive enough
long enough to bring necessary changes, and we aren't talking about
hope'n'change here.

Bloodless would be nice, but I believe any attempt at real change
would be dealt with by the PsTB in a deadly manner, so there would
likely be death involved in any attempt. I strongly feel that most
people would rather see tyrants, not the oppressed, put in pine boxes
six feet under. shrug
