All that stuff and more goes down my drain every day, and never had a
clog. I, too, don't get disposals. I rarely use the sink strainer, but
when I do, I empty it not in the trash but in the drain. Think about the
size of the drain pipe. Pretty hard to put anything big enough to clog
it down there.
