the squeak - after having dissassembled the motor and cleaned and
lubed and replaced the bearings trying to chase down the squeak.

That was something like 6? years ago.

Ouch, that all sucks. I'm thinking that's pricing based on what the
market will bear, not based on percentage of production costs.
