And never pay with anything that would identify you - even once. No CC, no
checks.

Paying with a check is a very bad idea of course, for multiple reasons,
but when you use a credit card the store has your name and account
number but the bank doesn't provide them with your address, phone
number, SSN, or e-mail address. They can't find out much about you
unless you have a really unique name and a lot of time.

How do they get SSN or e-mail address off a check?
