There should be a little difference -- even with an un-worn one.
They shift a little over time -- just from temperature cycling and such.

Out of curiosity -- how much does recalibration cost per block?
I might want to send my good set out for such if it is not too much of a
killer. I think that it is fifteen or twenty years since it was last
recalbrated.
