There is no "feedback" correction. Items of this type are typically made
randomly and then graded for size instead of being reworked. Hence the
likelihood that they will be off by near the limit for being off. Kind of
like why 5 percent tolerance resistors are all off by nearly 5 percent,
instead of a bell curve.

According to the inspection sheet, none of the blocks are off by more
than +/- 35 mil, most are single digit and a handful list as 0
deviation, all well under the +/- 50 mil spec.
