So five years ago when we had the house rewired the electricians put an
AirKing combo exhaust fan/light in our bathroom. Not two weeks back when
I was removing the cover to clean the dust out of the vent slots, the
frosted glass dome that the light shines through slipped out (for some
reason I held the cover upside down) and of course broke when it hit the
floor. So we called AirKing hoping we could buy a new glass dome, but we
weren't optimistic and I was thinking of ways to fabricate something out
of Plexiglass. Well, they wouldn't sell us just that one part--they sent
it to us at no charge even though we told them we'd had the fan for years.
It arrived today, packed like it was the crown jewels.

I prefer the Panasonic fan in our kitchen because it's so quiet. But I
have to admit, that's good customer service from AirKing.

Not trying to steal your thread but you reminded be that the folks at Ace
water pumps treated me the exact same way when a guide for the float rod
broke.

Companies who provide this level of service should be recognized.
