No. Anyone can become a citizen of Israel. Well, not ANYONE, but there are
no automatic bars to citizenship. Only Jews, however, get citizenship
automatically. On the other hand, nobody wants the Palestinians.


Where do you hear these stupid little anecdotes? If you thought about
them for a minute you'd realise what tosh they are.

In the case of the fruit stand owner, I experienced it. I've also met many
Israelis who (or their parents) immigrated from distant lands: Tunisia,
Morocco, Iran, etc.
