We had a woodpecker that molested our alum tv antenna pole last
Summer. Same thing. It's like birds that build mud nests on cliffs
above and below the high water line. The one's that build below do
not pass on their genes. Darwin called it natural selection. You
probably won't see that crow next year. The tv pole pecker is
also predictably absent, this year.
