People tend to mount TVs way too high. Center of the screen should be
below eye level.

At that math, wouldn't the bottom of the screen be just above the baseboard?

Not unless your chair is in a 3' deep hole in the floor.

I prefer mine up higher. And I'll tell the geek to put it just where I want
it.
