Default DANGER! Gun question .....

The advantage with the 223, it's close to the military
caliber. So, you can use military ball ammo when the
commercial stuff runs dry. Mil spec stuff might be cheaper
for paper punching when you don't need expansion.

Other than that, I'd guess it's a good caliber.
