TWICE by the people of New York City? That would be the Republicans,
who have decided that the world can't live without Mike Bloomberg in
the driver's seat.



Bloomberg is NOT a Republican. He was a lifelong Democrat. Then switched
to the Republican party just to get elected. He is now an Independent
and has been for 2 years.
It was the 47 DEMOCRATS in the New York City Council who voted to extend
his term after the INDEPENDENT Mayor asked them to.

"In the fall of 2008, Bloomberg successfully campaigned for an amendment
to New York City's term limits law, in order to allow him to run for a
third term in 2009. On October 23, 2008 the New York City Council voted
in favor of extending the term limit for elected officials to three
consecutive four-year terms, thus allowing both Bloomberg and other
council members to run for office again."
What a shock, DEMOCRATS voting to amend election laws to keep themselves
in office longer!!!
