Something even better (not to mention a more

convinced me I need):

Youtube search terms for mo "Chapman Stick"
"Megatar"
Lots of mp3's of different artists playing
different styles on the megatar site:

Damnit..Ive never even heard of one before. That is ****ing far out!!!
Im gonna have to check into this..really.
There's this intro from megatar,
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NGYrIv-4-is
but there's an even better one from someone else that
I can't seem to find at the moment that shows a lot
more range and variety -- the stuff above plus
percussive, strumming, plucking, bending, sliding,
etc. I'm sure if you spend enough time on youtube
you'll run across it eventually.
New:
Megatars range from $1300 to ~$3600. (12-string only)
Chapman Sticks go $1900 to ~$3500 (10 and 12 string)
Chapman also makes an acoustic that I haven't seen priced.
Warr guitars -- even spendier, so I haven't looked.
Krappyguitars.com -- flat $750 for 10 strings, $800
for 12 strings... if you want more, you're nuts, but
they'll make it for you anyway.
Used:
I've seen a 10 string Chapman that went for $1209 on
eBay, and a 12 string Krappy went for $650.
Well hell...that leaves me simply listening to the music, not making
any.
Gunner, Banjo and mountain dulcimer doodler.
Whenever a Liberal utters the term "Common Sense approach"....grab your
wallet, your ass, and your guns because the sombitch is about to do
something damned nasty to all three of them.
