One thing you will never hear from the right wingers is the fact that
10 banks are already starting to pay back their stimulus money. Right
wingers want everyone to think the money was just a gift to the
businesses and not meant to be paid back with interest.

The Federal Reserve spent over $1 trillion on distressed bank
securities. Since they bought negotiable instruments, they just printed
the money, and didn't tally it up as a government expenditure, and it
doesn't show up in the deficit. Now the taxpayer is stuck with a bunch
of distressed assets that may or may not reach par value sometime in the
future. The big bailout is just the tip of the iceberg.
