Then I got a video capture card here for $17.00:

Plugged the capture card into a spare 900MHz machine and I was good to go.
It captures at a bit less than 1Gig of disk space per hour of recording. The
capture card can also be hooked up to a TV antenna or cable so you can watch
regular TV on your computer monitor.

Right now I've got it hooked up in my bedroom to make my own clandestine
home movies. Even in pitch dark I get pictures in amazing detail - evidently
the gizmo has its own infared lamps which are good to at least 15 feet.
