I saw that. Wonder if Jon would say that if Rush was standing there next
to him?

Probably the same. You must have missed Jim Cramer's appearance on Stewart's
show.

I saw that. Jim Cramer's next appearance will likely be on Jerry Springer. I hate to see
a man grovel.

I doubt Rush would make an appearance. There isn't anything for him to gain
form it, certainly not audience share, and Rush doesn't do anything unless
there is a pay day in it for him. The only people that care much about being
castigated by Rush are the Republican leadership. Well, the Demo's love Rush
as well but only because the cowering of Republicans in the face of his
comments will keep them heading down hill until they toss his breed out.
Limbaugh's audience won't stand for that as they seem to be kept in a state
of constant arrousal. 2010 ought to be interesting.

Rush would be giving something to Jon Stewart, that isn't going to happen.

Well I'm going to disagree on the last part. Republicans didn't act like republicans
during the last few years. We are more ****ed at our own party than the democrats are.

Some of us think the Republican party should stand for less federal government and more
freedom. A mix of conservatives, libertarians that are doing libertarian lite, and some
Ayn Rand Objectivists.

Poor Jon, he really misses GWB. Lucky Rush, he has Obama. Ah the tides
of change are bad
for one, and good for another.

GM will be filing for bankruptcy in Federal court and GMAC, being a bank,
will be taken over by the FDIC within 60 days Wes.
That is my guess anyway. Chrysler will just be Fiat's new US distributor
although Tata would be a better fit in my opinion. Fiat will just make a
messy end to them.

I'm still suprised that GM is standing. I work for a supplier to GM and other automotive
and truck groups. We have a market cap of ~3.0B, GM's is ~1.4B . For a company the size
of GM that is shallow pulse, gray skin, irregular breathing. I thought it would have
failed last month.

Poor Chrysler, they tried to have a healthy balance sheet, were targeted by Kirk Kerkorian
iirc, swallowed by Daimler and basically screwed over for trying to run a biz with a
conservative balance sheet. I have more sympathy for Chrysler than GM.

I don't think anyone misses Bush. His years in office are a gift that will
keep on giving for an entire generation. You are correct about Limbaugh
being lucky. He's knocking down $38 million a year in the midst of all of
this turmoil. The next time you are in Detroit take a drive down Woodward
and have a look at the church that Father Coughlin built during the last go
round. It was paid for by a former crop of ditto heads who'd donated their
money to another radio personality.

Bush can be blamed only so long. Consider the dems have controlled both houses for over
two years. All spending come out of the house so they own a piece of this mess. Dodd is
looking bad, I doubt he can win re-election.

Obama is still feeling his way. I see that banks that want to pay back TARP funds are not
being allowed to. That bothers me. Bush forced it on some of them, Obama won't let them
get from under ex-post facto regulation.

I stay out of Detroit as much as possible now. I really don't miss my trips to Inkster
when working at my old job. Most recent job has HQ in Auburn Hills, never been to the hq
but I've driven by heading to Fanuc Robotics.

Who was that 'another' radio peronality?

Off to bed,

Wes
