You've answered your own question there. Probably the majority of
the circuit, including what's damaged, is in one ASIC
(application-specific integrated circuit). Not a replaceable part.

Get a new meter.


I agree this is likely an ASIC. I'd suggest cleaning the pots inside
as a possible fix, and clean the switch too.


Pots? What pots? It's a digital meter.

The O.P. might try squirting contact cleaner into the switch, but at
this point that's pretty much an act of desperation.
