Default Help ! Dog versus fridge door.

But,again, this suggestion does not answer the real problem .The dog
should be trained to know it's place and not even attempt to get in to

It is difficult for the dog to "know its place" if its place is in the
kitchen with a fridge full of temptation within easy reach. Also, you
can only train the dog if you are there when it gets into the fridge.

It sounds as though the OP had a workable solution but his teenage
kids wouldn't operate it. Time to train the teenage kids, perhaps,
rather than the dog?
