Did the RNC announce in advance that they'd be doing that? Surely you
don't think the DNC screens the people who attend their events (even
though that's something Bush did -- don't project RNC tactics onto the
DNC)?

You really think the RNC Knew serveral years ahead of time
that Obama was going to go through that neighborhood and move JtP in
there for a gotcha moment? Gee you gotta admire their work thinking that
far ahead.

You miss the point. Given a few days notice they could choose their
time and place, and find somebody with at least minimal plausibility
to prep and push forward in the crowd. That they couldn't find a
real, licensed plumber shows just how inept their campaign is.
