Just because a person's attitudes, prejudices, etc. don't agree with
your's in one respect doesn't mean that he is in error in all
respects. Following the reasoning of the quote, T.A. Edison should be
ignored and, by extension, all the inventions credited to him.

my objection is to the implicit generalization.
