Would it be possible to use this type of aerial indoors in the UK eg in

loft. (to get UK stations I mean) The aerial we have in the loft at
the moment is a 'normal' one

Put a STB on the existing one and see if it works.
Why buy a new one unless the old one doesn't do the job?
