We were somewhere around Barstow, on the edge of the desert, when the
drugs began to take hold. I remember "Gareth"
saying something like:

It's crazy really. I can't believe that someone would install a toilet
without checking that the seat can stay up. But they obviously did - either
that or didn't care.

It's dead common, as many a bruised willy will demonstrate.
