It was Great meeting you and Jim Chandler!
I enjoyed working with you on technique and you were doing quite well
there towards the end of the match.

The offer still stands, get yourself a reliable shooting iron of your
choice, and come on up and Ill run you through my personal "stay alive
on the street" course. Or simply come up and Ill dig something up for
you to fire off.

For those of you that could have gone, but didnt, you missed one of
the nicest facilities Ive seen (and Ive seen many), and a great bunch
of people, and a very enjoyable shooting experience.

I fully intend on making any future shoots that they have. Ive not
enjoyed myself (well..except for being so damned rusty at this sort of
competition..sigh...) in a long time and it felt damned good to step
out onto the firing line again. Running a few rounds downrange every
3-6 months just doesnt keep the skill levels honed. Winter (and cooler
weather) is coming..so more range time....time to start reloading and
bullet casting again.

Thanks Jim, and Im looking forwards to meeting you again, and the same
to Bruce.
Bruce, give my respects to your Dad for me. A very nice man indeed.

Gunner, who won the Most Scarred Knees Award.

The feelin is mutual Gunner and Bruce. BTW Bruce, Anne's son, Brian,
sends his thanks to your dad for pulling his ticket for the S&W .40.

We are already working on another match of some kind and I'll pass it on
as soon as something is firmed up.

If you think the range is nice now, wait until they get done fixing it
up. That patio area is going to be torn down and re-built. This is
only one of three ranges in the country owned by Lions Clubs. I'm
joining this coming Thursday, or at least putting in my app.

Hope to see you guys again soon. If I don't get down before, which I
probably will, I'll get with you on the 26th, Gunner and give you your
trophy. I have tickets to go see a taping of Jeopardy and will be
passing pretty close by.

Jim

if you still have my phone number, give me a call the day before if
you know when you are passing through and ill meet you, or if im hung
up someplace, or you can drop it off a few blocks south off the 10
freeway, , off Central Ave. 5 minutes off, 5 minutes back on, at
most.

Woody's Bar & Grill
1528 W. Holt Blvd,Ontario,California 91762

I hang out, play pool there (chuckle...Im a non drinker..which
confuses some of the patrons)...Im pretty well known there, so if we
cant make the meet up, give it to any of the lady bartenders for
Gunner, they will hold it for me.
Take a look at the model airplanes hanging from the ceilings, all done
by an Air Farce bird colonel who lives in the area.

Are the final scores posted anywhere on the net? It would be
interesting to see the various scores/classes.

Question though...I noticed several people shooting .22s.

One assumes that their scores were tallied differently than those
shooting a Major caliber?

If not..Ill bring the High Standard Citation the next time EG

No recoil and points real fast....chuckle
