specifically dulux quick drying satinwood

i'm not getting on with it very well, yes its nice to rinse out the
brushes with water, but i'm not getting a great finish. the second
coat goes on but it seems pretty transparent and doesnt seem to want
to adhere. maybe i am just c*** at painting, i dont know?!
