We were somewhere around Barstow, on the edge of the desert, when the
drugs began to take hold. I remember "Spamlet"
saying something like:

What I want is a wooden one with stainless bristles (so as for example, I
can treat my boots with melted wax without melting/burning the bristles
too... amongst other things.

Would a brass-bristle brush not do for that?
