So this part is not out of some equipment that you are repairing?

I _HATE_ that practice of cryptic marking. I
can understand that e.g. SOT-23 doesn't have enough space to put the full
part number but TO252 is big enough to host a small poem.


I believe it could be an LD1117BDT33TR LDO 3.3V regulator:
