sub-assemblies.
I also had a problem with the veneer chipping off the plywood for
every crosscut - miter saw, table saw, circ saw, all the same.

Make sure the good side is down for circ and miter saws, and up for
table saws.
Learn to do "scoring cuts" on sliding miter saws.
