Default OT Older petrol cars and MPG

dennis@home ("dennis@home" ) gurgled
happily, sounding much like they were saying:

A neighbour of mine designed the injection systems of the Renault range
of diesel engines. He said they are more complex than petrol and still
dirtier. Filth, yes filth.

Tell your neighbour to get a new job and leave the difficult stuff to
people that know what they are doing.

Since most Renault DCi common-rail diesels use the same basic Bosch piezo
injection system as most other manufacturers, Dribble's neighbour is
either a very clever German who Drib's misunderstood completely or one of
them's bull****ting frantically.

It's not exactly news that common rail diesel injection tech is way in
advance of that on petrol injections, and they _are_ "dirtier" by some
emission measurements. And cleaner on others.
