Technology needs clean air and water to begin with. Are you gonna feed
plants, fish, birds, animals bottled water?

The environment is important, but I can only wonder what people are
thinking when they state they are going to vote for a candidate based
on only that issue. In my book, there are many issues other than the
environment to factor in. A president can only have so much effect on
the environment. After all, there is this thing called Congress.
But in areas like foreign policy, making a case for going to war,
deciding what to do when that call comes in the middle of the night,
etc, the president has a hell of a lot more impact and direct
control. Just look at the current president. Did he get drilling in
ANWR? No. But he did convince the country to go to war, didn't he?
