They should last "forever". :-)

I bet the ones made today don't last forever. Some of the commonest items
that one would think would last forever are made so cheaply and crappily
today that it's disheartening. Hell, I'd pay more for one made better, but
they won't make a crappy model and a good one and let you choose.
