Sorry, but that's the line of the Chamber of Commerce and other big business
interest groups. They want to keep wages as low as possible. Pay a proper
wage and there won't be a lack of workers, period.

Can we compromise then?

Sure. All illegals can voluntarily leave America. They can line up, in their
own country, to obtain the needed documentation to temporarily come into
America to work.
