Hi Donald.
Have you drilled pilot holes for the screws? A smallish hole about half
the size of the fattest part of the screw drilled 3/4s of the depth of
the screw makes screwing a lot easier. I always use a battery powered
screw driver too and that makes life a lot easier too.
