What is the series resistance new? I can't seem to locate a real
specification anywhere.

Thanks!

I have a used CR2025. It's not completely dead, with open circuit voltage
of 2.8 volts. I also have a brand new CR2016 and CR2032. The CR2016 is
thinner than the CR2025 and the CR2032 is thicker than the CR2025. I
measured the impedances of all three and got these results:

Frequency CR2016 CR2025 CR2032

20 Hz 63.5 92.6 9.1
100 Hz 58.0 82.6 7.9
1 KHz 47.0 48.0 7.1
10 KHz 18.9 33.0 4.9
100 KHz 4.8 29.2 3.2
1 MHz 2.6 27.4 2.6

The measurement was done with 10 mV across the cell, and the impedances
are
given in ohms.

I would guess that a new CR2025 might lie between the CR2016 and the
CR2032.

Nice testing there. What instrument(s) did you use?
