I went on holiday to turkey last year and there was a bandsaw just like your
Northfield in the street by a furniture shop and it was being used at the
time.
Health and safety at my place may not allow that in UK.

I was out riding my bicycle in a small country town and did a double-take
as I approached a truck salvage dealer. There in the corner of the
parking lot was the biggest bandsaw I've seen in person. I wonder if it
will resaw over 4"? :-)

Its a Northfield!! It probably weighs a ton. Are you going to rescue
it?

Not in this lifetime. I'd have to pour a slab just to support it. :-) I
was just awestruck that something like that would be outside in the
weather. It looked like it had not been that long ago that it was in
service.
