It'd take a pretty hefty stack of cells to produce a shock to someone
just touching the ark, or an electric fence charger/ Tesla coil. Maybe
they had the latter too? Possible? Maybe. Unlikely? Damn straight!

Seems they should be very familiar with getting zapped.
