Default Technics SL-D2 Turntable Slooooow

Good idea. Thanks. I'll try it.

Well worth taking the circlip of the centre spindal, lifting off the
platter and giving it a good clean, and perhaps a drop of froil (very
thin oil, available from model shops)

There is an electrical adjustment, but cleaning it worth doing first.

My turntable is not working too well. It's difficult to get it
spinning. I'm told it does not have a belt. I would guess then that it
has a motor. Does anyone know about the repairs for it? Could this
potentially be more than a motor replacement?
