Your annoyance is understandable, but is it worth it? Was the mat

that
expensive? Ikea has a durable mat, not spikey (with the result that

it
slides a bit and has to be moved back in place DAILY), cheap, and

protects
the carpeting. Isn't it time to move on and save your energy for

other
things?
