Yes, it is.

What you're trying to do is sell books, and how you're trying to do
that is by trying to start a brou-ha-ha about how, in your opinion,
Einstein made a mistake (or something like that) and you caught it
and, if the real truth needs to be found, it'll be in your book.

But, in order to gain access to the "truth" we need to buy your
book, and you're advertising it on technical newsgroups.

Doesn't that smack of SPAM to you?
