So help me with this hypothetical Carl. I am a traveling lumberjack,

you're going to deny me service?

Not at all.
If you have a bill of sale from an authorized dealer, then we'll honor
the warranty.

How many traveling lumberjacks carry the receipt for their chainsaw with
them?

If you bought it from a non-authorized reseller, then it's you break
it, we fix it, you pay for it and then you submit a claim to the
reseller.

Fair enough. Never said I had a problem with that. Now, what about
those who buy from an authorized dealer but can't produce a receipt for
you? Like when I travel to my cottage - I don't take my chainsaw
receipt with me "just in case".

If that's the case, I'll never buy another Husky again, and I'll be
damned sure to tell my friends about it too. Pretty soon, you won't be
able to give them away.

We don't sell Husky.

Perhaps you're just too obtuse to see the point.
